Abstract

Fungi are among the biodeterioration and, as such, and occupational settings. involve exposure to fungi principal microorganisms involved in are found in a wide variety of substrates Occupations and/or workplaces that may include grain harvesting, storage and processing, sawmills and wood pulp mills, mushroom cultivation, waste treatment, and even office workers, librarians, and museum workers. In fact, virtually any occupation which brings workers into close association with biodeterioration processes offers the possibilibity of exposure to fungi and their spores.
