Part of the book series: Receptors and Recognition ((SERB,volume 3))

Abstract

We wish to thank all our colleagues who have provided us with unpublished information. We are also particularly grateful to Naomi Datta and Y.A. Chabbert for supplying us with their current compilations of compatibility groupings and for allowing us to incorporate the data in this review. Similarly, C.M. To has been exceeding generous in supplying us with the photographs in Figs. 6.3–6.5 especially as this material is still unpublished. Our thanks for critically reviewing the manuscript are extended to Russell Thompson, Thomas Trautner, and John Womack. We have not attempted to present a review of the literature beyond October, 1976. RS was supported by a California Division American Cancer Society Fellowship (no. J-275).
