Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to discuss what lessons can be drawn for public policy from our work on technological systems. The analysis in the preceding chapters has shown that public policy with respect to technological systems needs to be broadly conceived; it should not be confined to the domain of technology policy alone but should also include aspects of educational policy, science policy, and industrial policy more broadly.
