Retarded functional differential equations: basic theory

  • Chapter
Theory of Functional Differential Equations

Part of the book series: Applied Mathematical Sciences ((AMS,volume 3))

Abstract

In this chapter, we introduce a general class of retarded functional differential equations which generalize the retarded differential difference equations of Chapter 1. The basic theory of existence, uniqueness, continuation, and continuous dependence will be developed.
