Abstract
To provide an insight into current media environments, types of coverage, reasons for such coverage, and potential improvements in news media coverage of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Latin America and India. To better understand the potential influences of news reporting of antimicrobial resistance it is important to gain an insight into the current trends in mass media in Latin America and India. As elsewhere, the mass media permeates daily life.
