Abstract
This article describes insights gained from a project designed to engage psychologists in reflection on the Occupy movement in the United States. The purpose of the project, known as OccuPsy, is to mobilize psychological understandings in support of this movement toward deep democracy. Mutual recognition and voice emerge as key aspects in a social movement related to the decolonization of the psyche.
