Abstract
As India begins to emerge onto the global economic stage, the construction industry has seen significant growth that has attracted the attention of international business looking to enter the market. Before any business expands to India, it is important to understand the ethical inconsistencies of business conduct and the potential repercussions to the company’s brand. This chapter looks to explain the challenges of the Indian real estate and construction industry and the delicate balance between exploitation and savvy business decisions.
