Abstract

I used to return to Cuba frequently, and did so until a few years ago when I came to the end of a very long journey. It had taken years to return to the place of my birth in which five generations of my family are buried, to the place in which sunlight lingers and music is heard everywhere. And it took almost two decades to feel that I had completed my return.
