Estimation of the Residual Magnetic Field Strength Inside a Pipeline after Testing by a Magnetic Flaw Detector

Abstract

The residual magnetic field strength inside a pipeline after testing by a magnetic flaw detector is calculated. A portable device for demagnetizing local joint-pipe sections in carrying out repair-welding works is proposed.
