Abstract
Necrotising fasciitis of the breast is a surgical emergency. The breast is uncommon site for the occurrence of necrotising fasciitis. We are reporting a 65-year-old woman who presented to us with necrotizing fasciitis of the left breast. We have chosen this case given the unusual site of presentation and to highlight aggressiveness of the disease. Timely institution of broad spectrum antibiotics, resuscitation, and aggressive debridement remain the core principles of treatment of this condition.
