Investigation of the Possibility of Using High-Clay-Mineral Opal-Cristobalite Rocks for Fine Purification of Water from Highly Soluble Organic Compounds

The chemical and mineralogical compositions were investigated and the limit adsorption of methylene blue were determined on samples of opal-cristobalite rocks. It was found that rocks with a high content of clay minerals are promising for use in water purification from highly soluble organic compounds.
