In present paper, the question of electric charges acquired by fibers in the process of their application to a fabric surface using the electroflocking technology is considered. The possibility of assessing the maximum electric charge of a pile during its contact charging in an electric field is shown. As a result, a calculation model is proposed that takes into account the geometric characteristics of the pile, the electric field strength, as well as the limitation of the charge amount subsequent upon the possibility of a corona discharge at the end of the fiber particle.
