Zusammenfassung

Die Katheterablation bei Vorhofflimmern hat einen festen Platz im Arm der Rhythmuskontrolle. Dieser Beitrag fasst den aktuellen Stand der Katheterablation bei Vorhofflimmern zusammen, bestehend aus den Indikationen, den zur Verfügung stehenden Ablationsenergien, dem prozeduralen Vorgehen sowie dem Endpunkt, dem Follow-up und der Antikoagulation.

Abstract

Catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF) is a standard part of treatment with respect to rhythm control. In this article, the authors provide a review of the state-of-the-art knowledge of AF catheter ablation including current indications, possible energy forms, procedural methods and endpoints as well as follow-up and further anticoagulation.
