In Deutschland erkranken jährlich zwischen 600 und 650 Männer an Brustkrebs. Aufgrund des geringen öffentlichen Bewusstseins und fehlender Vorsorgeuntersuchungen wird die Erkrankung aber oft erst in einem fortgeschrittenen Stadium diagnostiziert.
