Traumatic diaphragmatic hernias

Abstract

Traumatic diaphragmatic hernias are being increasingly encountered. A series of 12 cases of traumatic diaphragmatic hernias is reported. High index of suspicion, early diagnosis and surgical intervention are necessary to minimise mortality and morbidity.
