Abstract

This study investigates the energy transfer characteristics of different-shaped coupling coil mechanisms of contactless energy transfer systems under air and seawater. By comparing the effects of different medium on different energy transfer mechanisms, an optimized design is proposed for the principle of energy transmission, and a reference for the design of the contactless energy transmission system in the medium other than airĀ is provided. The Maxwell, a finite element simulation software, is used to simulate the electromagnetic performance of the impedance, self-inductance and coupling coefficient of different energy transmission coil structures in two medium. And use Simploler and Maxwell to obtain the energy transfer performance of the inductively coupled contactless energy transfer system in different medium. A variable frequency control method based on variable compensation capacitor is proposed to improve the energy transfer efficiency of the energy transfer system in seawater medium. Through simulation verification, the applicability of this method in seawater medium is verified.
