Abstract

Based on the indicators and data of The IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2005, this chapter selects 23 specific indicators closely related to the international competitiveness of manufacturing industry to form an evaluation system. Taking 41 major economies in the world as the evaluation and research objects, this chapter evaluates and analyzes the basic competitiveness of manufacturing industry in China and major countries and regions.
