Abstract

Acquired hyperpigmentation with dermal alterations in this chapter comprises amyloidosis cutis dyschromica, hypopigmented macular amyloidosis, macular amyloidosis presenting as melasma, Becker’s nevus syndrome, follicular Becker’s nevus, segmental Becker’s nevi, Becker’s nevus on the lower limb, Becker’s nevus with white fibrous papulosis of the neck, Becker’s nevus coexisted with acne vulgaris, telangiectasia macularis multiplex acquisita, erythema ab igne, erythema ab igne after footbath, erythrosis pigmentosa peribuccalis, macular lymphocytic arteritis, scleroderma, gray pigmentation in morphea, perifollicular hyperpigmentation in scleroderma, reticulate hyperpigmented scleroderma, diffuse generalized hyperpigmentation scleroderma, pigmented macular variant of chronic cutaneous lupus erythematosus, felty syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis, pigmented purpuric lichenoid dermatosis, acquired bilateral telangiectatic macules, and hyperpigmentation with erythema gyratum repens.
