Abstract
In recent days, many healthcare organizations adopted Electronic Health Records (EHR) which furnishes many significant features to patients, doctors, and healthcare service providers. The number of healthcare organizations that have adopted EHR is pretty low due to the privacy and security concern of patient information. In order to overcome these issues, EHR should become capable of safeguarding the huge quantity of health records. The current study focuses on the ethical issues with modern technologies, security, and privacy aspects of EHR. The current study also discusses the role of semi-structured data in EHR.
