Abstract
From the times when it was contemplated that accidents are unavoidable and was of clueless reasons to sorting out the clear picture of what went wrong, accident prevails. So, it is crucial to dig the root cause of the accidents to circumvent similar happenings in future. With the available data, we know that the strong cause of any accident is of unsafe human behaviour. Psychological dealings can really aid in bringing about a permanent attitudinal changes. Behaviour-based safety management has become the need of any hour. It is undebatable that road accidents cause economic and societal loss due to negligent driver behaviour. Implying behaviour-based safety management in road safety with an integrated novel idea of monitoring, the driver behaviour in this paper has produced real results of efficacy of behaviour-based safety.
