Abstract

Based on the process drawings and documents generated via Basic Engineering activities, detailing is done by Detailed Engineering activities. Fundamentally detailed engineering involves co-ordination between all branches of engineering. Outcomes of interdisciplinary engineering are represented in the form of several documents like specification sheets, equipment and line schedule. Engineering change notice for small revisions in design or operation and maintenance manual after construction is also under the purview of detailed engineering; all these topics are covered here.
