Abstract
This chapter discusses the effects of braiding parameters and strain rates on the damage distribution and propagation of 3-D braided composite tubes during axial compressive impact. The damage mechanism of 3-D braided composite tubes under axial compressive impacts will be revealed both from tests and FEA.
