Abstract

This chapter introduces the main methods of carbon emission quantification and the basic concepts of LCA. Starting from the basic idea of carbon emissions, this chapter clarifies the concepts and theories of LCA and modular LCA. This chapter provides the basis for subsequent carbon emission calculation methods and research on emission reduction strategies.
