Pancreas Transplantation – the Asian Experience

Abstract

In living donor pancreas transplantation, the normal blood glucose profile of the donor as well as other medical conditions are mandatory for the safety of the donor. In addition, the social and psychological evaluations assess the donor’s voluntarism and altruism as well as the dynamics of the donor recipient relationship.
