Abstract

The proposed system consists of solar panel which is capable of moving in dual axis that is both in x-axis and y-axis. A dual-axis tracker allows your panels to move on two axes, aligned both north–south and east–west. This setup is designed to maximize the solar energy. Two stepper motor is used for moving the solar panel. One stepper motor is for X-axis, and other stepper motor is for Y-axis. Motor driver circuit is used for the function of stepper motor. The system is also capable of tracking power point on the solar panel using ANFIS technique. The output of solar panel is fed into a DC-to-DC converter. This converter is used for boosting up. The solar panels output is boosted up using this converter and given to the load. There are three modes of operation according to the output of converter. The hardware also consists of a battery setup which can be used in the absence of solar panel so constant voltage can be achieved.
