Abstract
The classification of single channel sand bodies within composite subaqueous distributary channels of a non-dense well area/zone is one of difficulties in geological research for oilfield development. In this study, the distribution of single channel sand bodies within composite subaqueous channels of the third member of the Qingshankou Formation in the Qian’an oilfield was analyzed by combining well-logging and seismic data-based forward simulation method. First, within the log curve in the high-dense well zone, four log-geology identification marks of single subaqueous distributary channel in Compound channel are established. Then, using the special seismic response characteristics of single channel composite positions, four forward simulation models of single channel combinations were developed. Finally, on the basis of the aforementioned forward simulation models, single subaqueous distributary channel sand bodies were identified within sparse well zones.
