Abstract

Electroless carbon nanotubes have received extensive attention due to their excellent physical and mechanical properties. In this paper, several pretreatment processes before the electroless plating of carbon nanotubes are discussed, and then the main factors affecting the electroless plating of carbon nanotubes are listed and analyzed, including the composition of the plating solution, the PH value of the plating solution, the temperature of the plating solution and the plating time. At last, the existing electroless plating methods of carbon nanotubes are analyzed and compared. The purpose is to provide reference for the research and improvement of the carbon nanotubes electroless plating process. After clearly understanding the carbon nanotubes electroless plating process, a suitable process can be simply and quickly selected according to the actual situation, so that the carbon nanotubes after plating can be used as reinforcement and modification materials to better meet the needs of use.
