Abstract

In this paper, we present a maneuver motion planning method based on virtual target for UAVs. This method is inspired by the navigation and control method of missiles. In order to adapt this method on UAVs, dynamic constraints of fixed-wing vehicle are full considered in design of the algorithm. The algorithm is flexible and works in real time, it demonstrates good performance in threat circumvent and autonomous attacking. These advantages make it possible in engineering applications. We analyze the algorithm theoretically and provide simulation results.
