Abstract
The systematic approach of interpretation of fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) smear is the most crucial factor for the correct diagnosis. In this chapter, the approach to interpreting the FNAC smear is described in detailed step by step. Also, the possible causes of false-positive and false-negative interpretations of the smear are discussed.
