Collector: Collecting attached ore or broken ore particles from the seabed.
Crusher: Crushing the collected ore or cutting the ore from the surface of the sea bottom to a specified size.
Introduction
In the process of seabed mining, the collector and crusher of the deep-sea mining vehicle is responsible for correspondingly collecting and crushing the ore covered in the seabed. The process and technology of deep-sea mineral resources collection and crushing mainly depend on the occurrence state of mineral resources in the seabed and the characteristics of seabed topography and geomorphology. It is easy to be collected for the polymetallic nodules on the surface of sediments. Usually, the polymetallic nodules are first collected to the mining vehicle and then broken to required particles by crusher in the mining vehicle. Up to now, there are three representative methods that have been used in deep sea experiments, including...
