Abstract

Gundersen Lutheran (GL) includes Lutheran Hospital, a 402-bed regional referral and specialty teaching hospital, and Gundersen Clinic with a medical staff of over 300 that provides specialty and primary care through over 712,000 patient visits annually. GL includes five hospitals, 10 health-related corporations, 34 branch clinics throughout a 19 county Tri-State Area of Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin, and a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). GL employees over 6,000 FTE.
