Zusammenfassung

Nachdem zunächst Kinder erfolgreich mit Teillebern von Lebendspendern transplantiert werden konnten, wurden in den 1990-er Jahren auch die Technik und Logistik für Erwachsene etabliert und die verschiedenen Indikationen geprüft. Wie heute in der klinischen Praxis vorgegangen werden sollte, wird im folgenden Kapitel dargestellt.

    Diese Altersgrenze ist relativ, ab 65 Jahre sollte die Spenderevaluation sehr genau erfolgen, dann sind die Ergebnisse nahezu gleichwertig (Kadohisa et al. 2021).

    Ein Malignom stellt in der Regel eine Kontraindikation zu einer Lebendspende dar. Der Lebendspender muss gezielt geschlechts- und risikoprofiladaptiert unter Berücksichtigung aller Risikofaktoren diagnostiziert werden. Nach erfolgreicher kurativer Behandlung kann ein ehemaliger Tumorträger bei nachgewiesener Tumorfreiheit als Spender in Frage kommen, wenn die Gefährdung des Spenders durch das Rezidiv und das Übertragungsrisiko der Tumorerkrankung als vernachlässigbar gilt.
