Zusammenfassung
Der Tod Milton Steinbergs ist mehr als die Privatsache einer Familie, als die Angelegenheit einer Gemeinde. Dies ist ein Schlag für Israel, für seine spirituelle Erneuerung, seine religiöse Kultur. In Leben und Wirken Steinbergs trat das Judentum so menschlich, klug und erhaben in Erscheinung, wie unsere Generation nirgends sonst es zu erleben und an ihm teilzuhaben das Glück hatte.
