Abstract

Part 5 of this dissertation is the second empirical investigation of OA as a dynamic construct and builds upon the findings of the first empirical study (Study 2). While Study 2 adopted a macro-process view in focusing on the development process of OA change, this study aims to go deeper to further analyze the multi-level dynamics inside the organization.

    See Part 3 of this dissertation and the introduced categorization of dynamic-oriented OA-research with the four identified types: (1) dynamic ambidexterity from a (macro) process perspective, (2) dynamic ambidexterity from a capability-developing view, (3) dynamic ambidexterity from an enabling mechanisms perspective, and (4) dynamic ambidexterity as (micro-) practice/activity.
