Abstract
Healthcare continues to undergo, worldwide, many of the same pressures evident in private industry. The drive to lower costs, improve quality and continually innovate products, processes and services is becoming critical to longterm success. Lessons from other industries teaches us that adopting a Fast Track Strategy in response to these outside pressures can also have a real advantage in healthcare. This paper will outline the Fast Track Strategies of a successful U.S. healthcare organization in responding to the challenges of such dramatic change.
