Abstract

Soft tissue neoplasms, although less common, can often be a part of a dermatologist’s clinical practice. This chapter covers four aspects of soft tissue tumors including the clinical presentation, pathology, prognosis, and treatment. A short differential diagnosis is also discussed. The soft tissue tumors are divided into five groups including fibriohistiocytic, fibroblastic and myofibroblastic, adipocytic, neural, and vascular.
