Abstract
This is a 24-year-old male without significant past medical or surgical history who was involved in an isolated motorcycle accident. He presented to the trauma bay with a right open proximal third tibial shaft fracture. There were no other reported injuries. He reports only pain about the affected extremity that is relieved with administered analgesics.
