Abstract

Once you have decided to do a dissertation, the next decision is, what to do your dissertation on. Knowing about the different types of studies that exist and identifying areas that you find interesting will help you narrow down the field and decide upon a topic. This chapter will also help you find a novel area worthy of study, come up with a suitable title and help you formulate your research question.
