Abstract

Due to the recent popularization of digital broadcasting services, many people receive data and watch videos by broadcasting. In division-based broadcasting, several researchers have proposed scheduling methods to reduce the waiting times for the delivery of multiple videos. Our research group has proposed \(TeleCaS\), a system that applies the scheduling method of division-based broadcasting. However, in \(TeleCaS\), when the server performs synchronous playback of multiple videos, there is a difference in the playback position among the videos. In this paper, we implement and evaluate the usefulness of \(TeleCaS\), which can synchronously play the multiple videos that we have designed. To perform synchronous delivery by the server and simultaneous playback by the client, we improved both the server’s delivery process and that of the client’s playback process.
