Abstract

This chapter discusses the challenges that occupationally successful people with childhood disabilities faced in college and the supports they received. We discuss the challenges they reported, including the transition from high school to college, and how their sense of self-efficacy helped them. We then discuss the promise that online learning holds for students with disabilities. At the conclusion of the chapter, we examined the role of faculty and administrators in supporting and accommodating students with disabilities.
