Abstract
This chapter outlines various forms of impact your research can have as well as the steps you can take in determining and ensuring impact. Our motivation in this chapter is to discuss the reasons you should consider impact at the outset of your research and the possible paths toward having an impact with fieldwork research in healthcare.
