Abstract

Head and neck cancers constitute approximately 10% of all cancers [1]. 600,000 patients are diagnosed with head and neck cancer every year worldwide. More than half of these patients present with a locally advanced disease. Head and neck cancers are more common in males than females. They are mostly seen in elder patients (50–70 years) but can also be seen in children.
