Abstract

Antarctica and surrounding regions will have global consequences as a result of climate change. It is relentless to understand how the anthropogenic climate change will affect the vast continent and surrounding ocean, but for the impacts such as sea-level rise accurate projections must be prepared. A thorough understanding of the causes and effects of climate change and the duration and rates of change is required involving the integration of observational and modelling knowledge from Earth systems.
