Abstract
Disability is one of the core characteristics of mental disorders. In Chap. 13 it has been discussed in detail why it is one of the three criteria for the definition and the diagnosis of mental disorders. It is the reason we are discussing mental disorder within the discipline of medicine and not in the frame of literature or sociology.
