Abstract
This chapter provides an introduction to naturalistic intelligence. Naturalistic intelligence (or naturalist intelligence) is one of Howard Gardner’s nine multiple intelligences, which involves how sensitive a person is to nature and the world. It refers to a person’s interest in the natural world of animals, plants, and the natural work around them. It is the ability to identify and classify patterns in natural environment. Individuals with naturalist intelligence have a sensitivity to and appreciation for nature. Naturalists are inspired and rejuvenated by nature.
