Abstract
Immediate and early dental implant placements are new approaches introduced to enhance some features of the conventional delayed protocols, such as shortening of the total treatment time in edentulous patients, hard and soft tissue preservation in the extraction socket, and improvement of esthetics. In this chapter, we will discuss the clinical indications and outcomes of these protocols.
