Abstract

Space-borne antenna is the input and output device of satellite’s signal, the research and application of this kind of antenna has been 50–60 years. At present, large-scale space-borne deployable antenna has been widely used in a lot of kinds of satellites such as geostationary orbit communication satellite, tracking and data relay satellite and electronic reconnaissance satellite. In this paper, the rigid reflector deployable antenna, flexible mesh reflector deployable antenna and fully flexible deployable antenna are compared in detail, and according to their different characteristics, workspace environment and future work requirements, the application and development trend of space-borne deployable antenna are summarized.
