Abstract

Tele-neurology is an evolving branch of telemedicine which involves the use of sophisticated equipment including high-speed Internet, telephone, and peripheral instruments to consult a patient at a different geographic location. This chapter explains the use of tele-neurology in a case of Parkinson’s disease and also summarizes the future trends in tele-neurology and telemedicine.
