Abstract
Agro-geoinformation, the agricultural-related geo-information, is the key information in the agricultural decision making and policy formulation process. Agro-geoinformatics is the interdisciplinary field of study on acquisition, processing, management, and applications of agro-geoinformation. This book summarizes the recent progresses of the agro-geoinformatics in both theory and practices. This introduction chapter provides the overview of the book and introduces the contents in each chapter.
