Abstract
The chapter provides a reflection on the methodology and usefulness of exploring race through narratives of embodied experiences. This not only offers up a powerful witness of racial experiences as well the continuity of racism through race being mapped onto bodies and spaces, but it also counteracts the contemporary backlash against the contention that learning from the experience of racism is central to understanding and overcoming modern racism.
